February Orienteering Meet

Orienteering Meet
Sunday, February 21
Start Times 11:00-1:00

Please join us this Sunday, February 21st, for our monthly orienteering meet. The meet venue will be at Julia Davis Park and Boise State University. There will be three courses – advanced, intermediate, and beginning. There will also be two categories for each course – competitive and recreational.

There will be 21 controls on the advanced course and 16 on the intermediate. Advanced course participants will have to cross the river four times. Route choices are guaranteed to be challenging. The intermediate course will have similar challenges just on a slightly shorter scale.

There will also be two 10 second bonus time questions on the advanced and intermediate courses. This will be further explained at the meet.

The start area will be on the north side (zoo side) of the footbridge between Julia Davis Park and BSU.

Cost of this event is $5 for individuals, $7 for teams/families, and free to club members.

We’re anticipating pleasant weather on Sunday so come out and have a great run or walk through the park and campus.

Hope we see you there!
