Ponderosa State Park meet in McCall June 26

Dear Orienteering Sport Fans,

Our next regular meet is Sunday June 26 at Ponderosa State park in McCall, Idaho. Our usual choice of classic orienteering courses will be offered for beginners, intermediate, and advanced participans. Beginner course will be designed on easy side to foster enjoyment of outdoors while advanced course may offer very long and challenging routes to farthest corners of the park.

Starts will be from 11 am to 1 pm near park office. Please notice that there is entry fee to the park. You may extend the stay at the park arriving Saturday. Park has nice campgrounds and facilities with hot showers. Reservation is highly recommended as the park is very popular during summer season. After the meet you may take a dip in the lake and catch some sun on the beach. It is really enjoyable area!

Here is location of the park on Google Map (click on me).

For those interested in 2003 USA Relay Orienteering Championships held in the park and their results click on link (hint - there is also a link to a copy of the map used for the championship).
